'Nomadics' January 2005, Trinity Buoy Wharf, London | take tour | read quotes | In
January 2005, Nomadics teamed up with sculptor and illustrator Orly
Orbach, and set-desinger/installation-artist/photographer Emily Orley to launch their collaborative debut at Trinity Buoy
Wharf with a 4,000 sq foot installation titled 'Nomadics'. A full sensory
experience, the installation explored both cultural and metaphysical understandings
of ‘Nomadism’. To engage with the work, participants embarked
on a journey through a no-mans land—a geography designed to alter
the typical ways with which we engage with our environments. “We are reminded of the small journeys that we make everyday, of the journeys that surround us and the ones that have preceded us.”
... in collaboration with Orly Orbach and Emily Orley.
